Santa Barbara is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Santa Barbara follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Stopped in for lunch before heading to the beach. We sat at the bar and was quickly greeted by Cooper and Solomon. We started with the margarita flight and then grabbed the coconut shrimp and Mediterranean bowl with salmon. Overall the margaritas were good, we weren’t big fan of the strawberry but 3/4 ain’t bad. The coconut shrimp were good, a bit over done. The Mediterranean bowl was the winner with lots of great flavors. The salmon was a bit overcooked but didn’t hinder the rest of the dish. Service was great and friendly, Cooper gave lots of great recommendations while in town.

The food at Finny’s always seems to be on point. We get the the carnitas nachos and the wholesome morrocan salad with chicken. The list of gluten free ingredients is impressive for the salad which makes the experience of eating it more enjoyable. You have your mixed greens, gently crispy almonds, vibrant and zesty shaved πŸ₯• , fresh πŸ₯’ pieces, juicy heirloom cherry πŸ…, chick pea crumbles and quinoa (no wonder it fills you up), πŸ§… , feta cheese…they mix this all with candied πŸ‹ and sweet, dried πŸ’ with a delicious tangy charred lemon vinaigrette - to really kick up the flavor notes. All just mixes so well with the soft chicken pieces. This visit, we tried the truffle fries - the flavor is incredible with plenty of cheese and garlic!! We also got a burger which was pretty good too. The beef, meat patty tasted fresh and was well seasoned. The con about this Finny’s is the wait time and the process and procedure for seating. That part was a mess which made the initial experience overwhelming. The waitress and hostesses seemed unauthentically friendly and that alone is not good. The food was great though! As always.

It was recommended and wow it was delish!! We started with the carnitas nachos to share then had the tri tip sandwich, which comes with home made chips & my hubby had the Ragyu burger with a side of fries. The nachos are soooo crispy and just delicious πŸ˜‹ the food was equally delicious and drinks were also good. Jada was an excellent waitress and checked on us several times. Definitely recommend the place for its food, service and overall relaxed ambiance. Will come by again when we visit from San Diego. Thank you Jada!!!

Too loud and very poor service. The environment looked cool and it was nice being able to put in a reservation before hand but that’s the extent of pros for this place. Food was ok but not good enough to go back for the amount of time it took to receive. Even the beer and margarita flight took over 20 minutes to receive. The table was small for 4 people and we felt like we were eating on top of each other. Don’t expect to have a conversation with anyone at your table because you will not be able to hear them. They don’t have many tables outside either which is very unfortunate especially with the amazing weather in Santa Barbara. Waitress disappeared several times and we had to snag others walking by for refills, or an update on the food. Then for the longest time people were too focused on closing up then to check on us - I had to go to the bar and ask for dessert options. The bartender just quickly read off options and it was up to me to track someone down to order something. (That was 40 min before they even closed)

Our Server Jake was great!!! He recommended the smash burger over their house burger. It was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Great char flavor and the rest worked perfectly together. The loaded tots were a hit too. The deviled eggs are really good too. The candied bacon on top was amazing. I would have bought a plate of that alone!
